LEADERSHIP TEAM

With almost 30 years of experience in the information technology and insurance industries, Chris leads all aspects of IT across the FrankCrum enterprise. With a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Penn State University, he specializes in strategy and planning, digital transformation, software lifecycle methodologies, operational efficiencies, and legacy modernization. Chris’ domain experience stretches from distribution to reinsurance and he has held IT leadership positions with Sompo America and Orchid Insurance, and has served as the Chief Architect for DXC Technologies, Financial Services Division.

Jim serves multiple positions within FWCI, including chief financial officer, vice president, and treasurer, and sits on its board of directors. With a bachelor's degree from Ursinus College in business administration, he began his insurance career in 1994 at the Florida Residential Property & Casualty Joint Underwriting Association. He later obtained the designation of Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) and became a certified public accountant. He has been with FWCI since its inception. 

Herb has worked in the property-casualty industry for over 40 years. After graduating from the University of Virginia, he served as founder and chief software architect of Evolution Technology, a national vendor specializing in auto and GL ratings for insurers. He also served as director of commercial products and marketing for Cypress Insurance Group for a decade before joining FWCI in 2013.

Jonathan manages all aspects of claim activities for FWCI. With over 35 years of insurance industry experience, he brings a diverse claim’s background focused on achieving superior outcomes. Jonathan earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Stetson University and has CPCU, SCLA, and AIC designations. He has worked for several Top 20 insurance carriers, including Zurich, CNA, QBE and Enstar.

Scott manages risk, shapes underwriting strategies, promotes sales and client retention, and maintains regulatory compliance for FWCI. With over 40 years of insurance industry experience, Scott brings diverse industry knowledge, focusing on commercial lines underwriting, product development, and management, as well as data integration, automation, and integration of new technologies. Scott earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and has CPCU, ARM, AIT, and AIM designations. Before joining FWCI, Scott also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri–Columbia, where he instructed in the Risk Management Program specific to carrier operations.

Nick manages and coordinates the sales activities of the FWCI business development team. Having been with FWCI since 2018, he brings not only his expertise in the insurance industry but extensive sales and customer service experience through his former ventures, including seven years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nick’s forward-thinking approach to leadership will help FWCI continue to challenge the status quo and excel in the insurance industry. Originally from Zionsville, IN, Nick received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Ball State University.

Steve oversees all underwriting activities for the FrankCrum PEO workers' compensation insurance programs. He started his insurance career with Texas Employers Insurance Association as a commercial casualty underwriter. He later joined The Hartford in their national accounts department, where he stayed for 18 years. Just before joining FWCI, Steve was vice president and director of underwriting for the startup Imperial Casualty and Indemnity Insurance Company, which he developed to over $100M in manual premium.

Joe works in concert with the CIO and shared services leaders to plan, define and manage FWCI's system strategy, operations, and governance. He has extensive management experience in information technology and operational leadership roles, including nine years as a CIO in the specialty P&C sector. Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and information systems from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY. His expertise extends to the design and scalability of high-performance IT organizations that impact multiple business units and mission-critical projects.

With over 20 years of diverse experience in the insurance industry, George works to optimize operating capabilities and customer satisfaction to support business expansion. Through iterative transformation and with a commitment to risk management, he leads customer-centric initiatives. Before coming to FWCI, George held key roles at technology-focused organizations such as Roost, Capgemini, Majesco, and the CGI Group and managed insurance operations for several large and regional carriers. He received an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University.
